Green Cuisine in San Antonio

YUM! Green Vegetarian Cuisine in San Antonio is quickly becoming my favorite restaurant. Even my boyfriend likes it!  We went there tonight by request of my boyfriend actually!  This was my third visit to this restaurant in downtown San Antonio and I have to say I haven't been disappointed yet!  I've tried a different dish every time I've gone there and everything I've had has been spectacular, and 100% vegetarian too!

Tonight I tried the raw wrap with a fruit salad side.  Check out the pic I posted of it before I dug in. It was gorgeous!  The wrap part is made of beautiful, dark, huge collards and it's filled with all sorts of deliciousness, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, cranberries, sprouts, etc.  So yummy!  Who needs meat and cooked food when you can eat stuff like this!?  Micah tried their bbq cheddar burger and I got to try a bite of it and it was good too!

I have to say though that this restaurant really really shines when it comes to desserts.  ALL of their desserts are 100% VEGAN!  That means no eggs, milk, butter etc.  They are hands down some of the tastiest desserts I've ever had.  They usually have all different kinds of cupcakes along with cookies and tarts to name a few.  So far I've had their red velvet cupcake, raw cookie and tonight their chocolate pumpkin cupcake.  Tonight Micah got a Snickerdoodle cupcake and OMG!  Seeing his reaction while he was eating that thing was the most entertainment I've had in a while. He looked like he was in heaven.  I got to try a small bit of the frosting on top and it really did taste just like a snickerdoodle!  Gonna have to see if they can make a cake out of that stuff for his next Birthday!

As we were leaving Micah admitted that this was also one of his most favorite restaurants now and I am just so thrilled!  I love that I can share my life with some one who not only puts up with my crazy lifestyle buy embraces it and enjoys it with me. I am so blessed! <3
